A tired front yard can drag down the whole look of a property - even a well-kept home. That's exactly what we were working with here. The goal was simple: clean it up, give it structure, and make sure it stays looking good without a ton of ongoing maintenance.
We cleared out the old ground cover and prepped the soil to give us a clean slate. From there, we were able to reshape the planting beds and set up a layout that actually complements the building's footprint. The river rock border and existing boulder feature got a fresh context with the new grading and bed edging, making them feel intentional rather than leftover.
Low-maintenance landscaping is something a lot of property owners ask about - and honestly, it's not about doing less. It's about being smarter with the design from the start. The right plant placement, proper bed prep, and clean edgework all reduce how much upkeep you're dealing with down the road. That's what we aimed for here.
The result is a front that looks polished and purposeful. Clean lines, a well-shaped shrub anchoring the right side, and freshly graded soil ready for sod or ground cover - it's the kind of update that makes a noticeable difference from the street.
